The bulbs are grown, processed and shipped to customers all over the world at various locations in the Netherlands, France and Chile. And every step in the process is continuously monitored and optimised. With over 45 years of experience we always try to create a product that end users can use with satisfaction. In the coming years, we will continue to focus on delivering the right quality and we will also continue to explore the innovative possibilities, whether in Europe or Asia. Quality requires continuous action. For example, to control possible viruses in lilies. For this, tissue culture is ordered annually at various laboratories, so that we can begin afresh with new starting material. In addition to changing the varieties that are currently being grown, new varieties can be scaled up more quickly.

New varieties
Wagenaar Lilies also develops new lily varieties. One of our own varieties is El Capitán. A lily with very large buds and a unique pink colour for an OT. The first bulbs are being bred at Dutch Lily Masters. This in order to test the different properties and to be able to assess how the variety develops and what the potential is.

Wagenaar Lilies provides services for multiple companies to make specific varieties available with fresh quality all year round. In Holland, Chile and France we grow selected varieties on a contract basis. We facilitate this from the scaling up to the export.
